How it works: the security levels
SPID provides three security levels: choose the one required by the service you want to access.
Level 1
Access with username and password. Designed for low-risk services that do not require higher guarantees.
Level 2
Password plus a temporary OTP code generated by the app or received via SMS. It is the most widely used level, required by most services.
Level 3
Password plus a physical device or a digital certificate. For services that require the highest level of security.
